Cosy Mystery Book Recommendation
An enjoyable cosy mystery and all I can say is Vera Wong is a CHARACTER! I laughed out loud at some of her antics.
Vera is an elderly widow who runs a failing tea shop in the Chinatown area of San Francisco.
One day she comes downstairs to open her tea shop and finds a body lying on the floor. She proceeds to ‘track down the murderer’ when the cops decide it was an accidental drug overdose.
Matchmaking, Chinese cooking, and a great deal of ‘advice’ to all and sundry ensue.
